🔗 Share this article The Best Local Multiplayer Release You've Probably Not Tried Arrives to Switch Wizard of Legend 2, a roguelike journey centered on sorcerers aiming to achieve status as mythical figures, will arrive to the Switch later this month. It'll be playable Nov. 25, offering fans of shared-screen games a fresh shot to check out among 2025's most impressive entries in its class. A Troubled Start The Wizard of Legend Sequel adopted the path of numerous niche titles. The development team made it available in pre-release in the fall of 2024 on Windows PC, prior to launching it completely, in conjunction with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions, in the summer of 2025. Upon release, it was widely panned. Merely less than a third of its audience ratings were favorable. The Steam reviews are "mixed", drawing from close to 2,000 reviews, with many players highlighting the overall roughness and multitude of glitches at launch. Those on consoles also condemned that the co-op feature, a huge selling point for the title, mostly failed. Ongoing Improvements However like several beta releases that launch in imperfect forms, Wizard of Legend II has gotten better. During the last several months, the development team have released several fixes designed to fix these issues. After playing Wizard of Legend 2 more frequently than every other new game release in the current year, I can confidently say its functionality has improved compared to initially (on console, anyway). It's hit the level where nine times out of ten, one can successfully start a cooperative run to work. Not bad! When It Operates, It Shines Furthermore when The Wizard of Legend Sequel operates, it performs excellently. Using an isometric view, you battle through magic-oriented areas by using magic in fast-paced combat. A great deal of rushing, a great deal of evading, a great deal of managing cooldowns. This game is incredibly rapid and remarkably inventive; when you mix and match your abilities together with an ally's, you can unleash powerful synergies. Switch Version Specifics While the Nintendo Switch edition hasn't been comprehensively reviewed, it's important to remember the very demanding guidelines for certification for Nintendo titles. The developer mentioned via an announcement that the Switch version of Wizard of Legend 2 incorporates every patch that were implemented this year.
