19 of the Russian's 21 titles have been achieved on hard surfaces
A resurgent Daniil Medvedev claimed his first championship for over two years with success over Frenchman Moutet in the Almaty Open title decider.
The athlete, a ex- world number one, has endured a difficult period, achieving just one win at the major tournaments and suffering a meltdown at the US Open.
His unpredictability on the professional circuit - and struggles with his serve in especial - caused him falling of the top ten and eventually splitting with long-time trainer Cervara.
Presently training with his coach and Goetzke, the tennis star has consistently advanced in the last few weeks - climaxing in a tightly fought competitive win over opponent Corentin Moutet.
This represents the player's maiden title after the Italian tournament and maiden on a hardcourt from that period of 2023.
Victory also means the Russian has won 21 titles at twenty-one different events.
"It's the first time I'm at a event with my both daughters simultaneously, so to win a title is especially meaningful," said tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This victory is in dedication of my second daughter my daughter, because the initial championship I achieved when my older daughter Alisa was born was for her."
Medvedev, the past champion, had failed in his previous six title deciders, including in that event earlier this year.
Medvedev's counter-punching strategy and frequent emotional displays on court had caused some to wonder if his capacity to play at the top level was concluded.
However the 29-year-old has altered his approach in the past month, attempting to advance forward and perform aggressively, reinforced by an enhanced service.
The champion fought back from a disadvantage in the opening set against the difficult Frenchman, taking four of the final five games to go ahead.
Both players swapped breaks in the second set before Moutet, attempting for his initial ATP Tour championship, took control to force a final set.
Moutet rescued 4 early-game chances in a close deciding set before the champion won the break to fifteen to serve for the match.
Fittingly, he secured victory with a point at the net area, with his opponent unable to handle a volley after two hours and 38 minutes.
