I will stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Former twice unified boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the novice is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Size Difference

As the two fighters met for the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really happening.
