Charli XCX is preparing for a substantial big screen onslaught in 2026, starting with the satirical film titled The Moment.
Throughout the movie, the artist plays what she describes as a dark version of her own persona.
It’s the realest depiction of the entertainment world that I’ve ever witnessed, the star remarked.
She clarified in a conversation: It’s far from a live performance documentary, yet the concept originated from the demand to make one.
A Sneak Peek into The Film
The debut trailer, unveiled on Thursday, mixes real clips from Charli’s Sweat tour with fictionalized off-stage interactions.
The mockumentary is directed and co-written by her collaborator, who shared that the narrative centers on a reality where the artist took completely different paths in the promotion of her smash hit album Brat.
